Craze for sport and health in Galeria Młociny

The most modern retail and entertainment project in Warsaw, located nearby the underground station and the strategic transport hub in Młociny, is rapidly acquiring the tenants of sport and health food sectors. Next spring, one of the largest fitness clubs in the city will be inaugurated in Bielany. The well-known Calypso chain has decided to open its club in Galeria Młociny. The list of tenants will also include Green it, a restaurant serving health food. The project, which is planned to be opened in the spring of 2019, is over 75 pct leased and is entering its decisive stage.

“Healthy eating is now trendy as well as spending time actively and being fit. Research shows that the number of Poles who have been working out increased by over 15 pct. Galeria Młociny follows this trend, that is why, when we were completing the tenants, we took care of both the most modern fitness club in this part of the city as well as health food restaurants. We are aware that fitness fans are their frequent guests, also on free of trade Sundays”, says Marcin Szlufik, Senior Leasing Manager at Echo Investment"s Shopping Centres Department. Bielany in good shape Calypso Fitness, the undisputed leader in the Polish fitness market, is among the tenants of Galeria Młociny. The spacious and well-equipped over 2,000 sqm fitness club will be located on two levels. The new Calypso club will be one of the largest and most modern fitness cubs in Warsaw. Fitness classes will be run in spacious, air-conditioned rooms – trampoline training, Tabata, Cross Training, Zumba and health-related activities such as yoga and Pilates. Next spring, members of the club will have a chance to enjoy wellness facilities. Calypso, just the same as Galeria Młociny in general, will be friendly to parents with children, offering free childcare in the Kids Play area. Health island nearby Craze for a healthy lifestyle has been taken over Poland. That is why Green it., a new tenant of Galeria Młociny, wants to green the world starting in the kitchen. An island display with healthy food, this proposal for those who look for healthy, vegan and vegetarian dishes, will be located next to Calypso and Lifemotive. The menu will include a variety of warm wraps, salads, soups and smoothies that provide something tasteful and aromatic for everyone! Vegetables, fruits, cereals, meat and cheese offered by Green it. allow you to fully fulfil needs of your body for nutrients. They are a great choice from all groups of the food pyramid. Green it. in Galeria Młociny will be the sixth location of the brand in Warsaw. Apart from of the capital, residents of Łódź, Bydgoszcz and Kraków also know this health food chain. “The island display in Galeria Młociny will be the apple of our eye. I am convinced that Green it. in Bielany will quickly gain new fans and attract those who like and know our food from other locations. The more that we will be a part of a completely unique place dominated by entertainment, a large green garden and of course good restaurants, which will occupy the whole storey of the modern project. New, mixed-use centre of Bielany The place will combine 220 favourite shops and service outlets, comfortable offices, a medical centre, playgrounds, a fitness club, restaurants and cafes, a trampoline park and the first multiplex cinema in the district within a friendly and green area. Galeria Młociny is distinguished by an innovative approach in the design of meeting places, entertainment and gastronomy. Its restaurant and entertainment space, which occupies the entire +2 floor and is connected with the green roof garden, has been divided into various functional zones. Architects from the renowned Broadway Malyan studio transferred the atmosphere of cosy cafes, street-food and eating out as well as outdoor dining among greenery to Warsaw"s Bielany district. This is the first concept of its kind in Poland. Galeria Młociny is being developed right next to the Młociny hub – one of the places with the best transport links in Warsaw, with direct access to the underground, numerous tram lines and bus routes, suburban and national buses, a bicycle station and a P&R car park. It is the most important transfer location for the northern part of the city and satellite towns and it is used by over 24 mln passengers every year. Galeria Młociny is over 75 pct leased. Investors of Galeria Młociny are: EPP (70 pct shares) and Echo Investment (30 pct shares). The former company will manage the newly-opened complex. The latter one is fully responsible for the development process.
