Puma in Libero
Puma in Libero

PUMA, one of the most popular sports brands in world, is to open its shop in the Libero shopping centre in Katowice.

The shop of the PUMA brand will occupy 130 sqm in Libero. Apart from sports clothing and accessories, including those addressed especially to runners, footballers, golf players and motor sport fans, the new shop will also offer a broad range of casual clothing for enthusiasts of a comfortable, urban style. “Puma is a brand which is strongly focused on sport and fashion. Our products are not only chosen by sportspeople but also those who appreciate casual, comfortable everyday elegance. When selecting new locations for our shops we mostly concentrate on the assets of the location as well as the standard offered by a given facility. Both factors determined our choice in the case of Libero. We are satisfied with the location as well as the quality of architecture,” says Jarosław Pacałowski, PUMA. “In Libero we pay a lot of attention to fashion as well as sport. Puma is a brand which ideally combines the two fields into a coherent whole by offering fashionable designs and comfortable, sports cuts. So it is perfectly in line with our leasing strategy, which is based on variety, high quality as well as gathering particularly popular brands, complementary ones and completely new ones in one place,” adds Michał Banasik, senior leasing manager in Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. PUMA is one of the leading sports brand. For over 65 years PUMA has earned its reputation as a producer of sports footwear for the fastest athletes in the world. The company with its headquarters in Germany distributes its products in over 120 countries and it employs more than 10,000 people all over the world. The construction of Galeria Libero is on schedule. Advanced commercialization process is conducted regardless of the progressing construction work. Over 75 pct of Libero"s retail area has been leased. Libero is characterized by its excellent location at the junction of Kościuszki Street and Kolejowa Street, which are used by over 15,000 vehicles per hour at peak times. The opening of Libero is planned for the spring of 2018. www.galerialibero.pl
