The largest New Balance shop in Poland in Outlet Park Szczecin
The largest New Balance shop in Poland in Outlet Park Szczecin

Outlet Park Szczecin is a unique combination of an outlet offer and a regular offer as well as entertainment. Its annual footfall records and a continuous increase of tenants’ turnover encourage subsequent brands to open their shops in the centre. The New Balance chain is to open its largest outlet in Poland (280 sqm) in February this year.

“Outlet Park Szczecin is not a typical outlet centre. The investor continuously extends its offer to new brands and functions other than retail trade. It is convenient also for us. The more interesting the facility and other brands, the greater popularity of the facility, its catchment area and consequently its footfall. The new shop of New Balance in Outlet Park Szczecin will be the largest one we have opened in Poland so far. We want to guarantee the availability of the brand"s full offer and its appropriate display,” says Dawid Zyskowski, director of retail sales outlets in New Balance. “Outlet Park Szczecin is a pioneer formula on the Polish market. We have managed to create an interesting mix for people looking for high quality products at convenient prices, regular shops offering the latest collections and functions other than retail trade. The footfall success of Outlet Park on the one hand and the growing expectations of customers who are more and more aware of their shopping needs on the other, were a sufficient reason for us to extend the facility and add new functions to its offer. In the middle of last year we opened a medical centre, a fitness club and a large shop offering multimedia. We added variety to the tenant mix thanks to a Duka home decoration shop (130 sqm). In autumn this year we will open the new section of the facility, which is nearly fully leased already. We will offer 20 more shops,” says Karolina Prędota-Krystek, senior leasing manager in Echo Investment"s Shopping Centre Department. Outlet Park Szczecin is the largest and the only outlet centre in West Pomerania. It is located in Szczecin"s Prawobrzeże district. It offers brand-name products which are 30-70 pct cheaper compared to the prices in regular shops. A 7-screen Helios cinema and a section of the facility which includes Smyk Megastore and a Piotr i Paweł supermarket constitute additional assets of the project. After its extension Outlet Park Szczecin offers 100 shops and 900 parking spaces. Its new section, which was opened in autumn 2016, includes a Media Expert shop (over 900 sqm), a BeFit fitness club (1,500 sqm) and the Dom Lekarski medical centre (900 sqm). Its outlet section offers products of brands such as: Nike, Puma, Reebok, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Reserved, Bytom, , Lee Wrangler, Wittchen, Kazar, Vero Moda, Jack Jones, Cross Jeans, Lavard, Ecco, Big Star, 4F, Ochnik, LKJ, Mc Arthur, Lancerto, Gabor, Willsoor, Lee Cooper, Cropp, House, Simple, Mohito. Customers can also shop in: Vistula, Italian Fashion, Diverse, Molton, Unisono, Kubenz, Volcano, Monnari, Świat Zabawek, Giacomo Conti, Maxima and Bruno Zinger. Work related to the next stage of extension of Outlet Park Szczecin is currently in progress. Its opening is planned for September 2017. Outlet Park Szczecin which is developed by Echo Investment, is currently part of the portfolio of Echo Polska Properties – a Dutch company operating on the basis if the REIT formula and investing in the real estate sector, particularly in retail, office and warehouse properties all over Poland. www.outletpark.eu
