Divisions of the international William Demant Group to have offices in Q22

Echo Investment has secured another tenant for its flagship scheme in Warsaw - the Q22 office building. William Demant will occupy more than 3 000 sq m of office space. The Office Agency department at CBRE advised the tenant during the lease negotiation process.

Demant Technology Centre, DGS and Oticon Polska, all companies in the William Demant Group, the worldwide leader in hearing healthcare, will occupy the leased office space in Q22. These companies based in Q22 will add yet another division of the international group to have its presence in Poland. Łukasz Kałędkiewicz, director, Office Agency Department, CBRE, comments: “The decision taken by William Demant to establish Demant Technology Centre, a brand new centre responsible for research and development, is a first-class testimony to the potential held by Poland. According to the data published by GUS (Central Statistical Office of Poland), spending on research and development activities in Poland continues to rise, while grants and subsidies make Poland an attractive designation for business centres. The still developing office market in Warsaw, which offers world-class office schemes such as Q22, as well as access to well-educated and aspiring staff, attracts key foreign investors that are able to see the opportunities for growth of their businesses in Poland.” William Demant is yet another large corporation, to choose modern office space in the heart of Warsaw. The tenant is to move into its new offices in Q22 in the second half of 2016. “We are happy that a world-famous company from the technology sector such as William Demant has put their trust in us. It is an internationally renowned corporation with a global reach and it has its offices in the most prestigious of locations. The fact that a division of the company is to be placed in Q22 shows acknowledgment of our efforts and approval of the scheme"s top quality. Fit-out work and commercialization of Q22 are being carried out right on schedule and we will be able to reveal new tenants soon” – commented Michał Żelski, senior leasing manager at Echo Investment SA. Q22 is a modern office building to stand 155 m tall over Warsaw"s business centre at the junction of Aleja Jana Pawła II and ulica Grzybowska that offers more than 50 000 sq m of leasable office space. The ground floor of the building will house an elegant and glass-fronted lobby. The premises located on the 14th floor will be used for special purposes, such as e.g. a conference centre and a fitness club, while the 1st floor will accommodate a restaurant. The five-storey underground car park will provide tenants with 348 car parking spaces. Top-quality materials and modern technological solutions are being applied in construction of the building, the result of which is to be a contemporary looking and luminous structure. Q22 is BREEAM certified; it was awarded an Excellent rating with one of the highest scores in Poland in its category (nearly 80%).
